Four bets to win millions! "dillerfar19" turned $5 into $1 million in PokerStars Spin & Go. Danish player "dillerfar19" triggered a 240,000x prize pool in PokerStars $5 Spin & Go, defeating his opponent with pocket 7s to win the $1,000,000 jackpot.

In any $5 Spin & Go online tournament on PokerStars, players with a jackpot exceeding 87% are competing for a prize pool double or triple their buy-in. However, a recent $5 Spin & Go tournament was different, as a jackpot multiplier of 240,000 was triggered, meaning three players were vying for a prize pool of up to $1.2 million. What are the odds of this happening? 0.10 in a million!

When the prize pool multiplier is between 2x and 5x, the PokerStars Spin & Go tournament is a winner-takes-all event. When 10x is triggered, the top two players take a share of the prize pool, while any multiplier of 25x or higher will award prizes to all three entrants.

When Belarus's "KuCoH", Brazil's "malakaio300", and Denmark's "dillerfar19" bought into a $5 Spin & Go game, the prize pool selector stopped at an extremely rare 240,000x!

This means three PokerStars players will compete for the largest share of the $1.2 million prize pool. Even if they are the first to be eliminated, they will take home $80,000. The runner-up will receive $120,000, while the ultimate champion will become a millionaire.

According to the PokerStars blog, "KuCoH" was the first player eliminated. They lost some chips early in the tournament, then called all-in with K-7 when "malakaio300" went all-in with J-2. A 2 appeared on the board, and "KuCoH" was eliminated—even though their PokerStars account had increased by $80,000 just minutes before.

That elimination ensured that the two players now heads-up would have at least 1TP 4T 120,000 chips. Brazil's "malakaio300" built an early lead of 2:1, but the lead changed hands when "malakaio300" went all-in with pocket fives and "dillerfar19" called with KQ. Shortly after, "dillerfar19" upgraded to triplets and rejoined the game.

The lead changed hands again, with "dillerfar19" regaining the lead.

In the final and most crucial hand, "malakaio300" went all-in from the button with K-8. "dillerfar19" called with pocket 7s; a coin flip would determine who would win the $1 million jackpot.

"dillerfar19" hit trips on a 7-high flop, forcing "malakaio300" to need two consecutive cards to turn the game around. A Jack on the turn gave the Brazilian player a draw, and another 7 on the river allowed the newly minted millionaire to unnecessarily upgrade to quads.

Spin & Go is a three-player troll tournament where the prize pool is randomly determined before the cards are dealt. Most participants are competing for 2 or 3 times the buy-in, but sometimes stars align, creating life-changing prizes, as evidenced by the seven-figure prize of "dillerfar19".

Traditional Spin & Go buy-ins are $0.50, $1, $2, $5, $10, and $25. A game starts immediately once three players have bought in, and it runs every day, every hour.
