The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is already making history. Well, at least until the Main Event final table takes place from August 3rd to 5th—and one of the returning players is Greg "FBT" Mueller, a prize player in the popular ODB $500 DreamLeague, running alongside Daniel Negreanu's 25K DreamLeague.
Prior to the main event, Mueller had only two small prizes, contributing a paltry two points to the four teams that selected him (0.32% holding rate). However, only one team with him had a chance to win, and that required a fourth-place finish or better in FBT. In other words, Mueller's final result would not affect the ranking of the top winner.
Therefore, out of a record 1,199 teams and a total prize pool of $599,500, the top 100 teams received prize money. Similarly, the team that finished last received a consolation prize of $2,500, earned by Team Degen Summer Campers 2 with just 222 points.
On the other hand, the team owned by the poker powerhouse couple Kristen and Alex Foxen emerged victorious with 1,897 points, winning this year's championship title and the $100,000 jackpot. They secured the title with a fairly easy 39-point lead.

As you can see, the Foxen couple chose Nick Palma as their bonus player. Palma has publicly stated that he wasn't selected in the 25K DreamLeague, and his 173 points accumulated in 16 bonus events this summer may make some teams regret their decision. This is enough to make him the third-highest scoring player among ODB bonus players.
