On August 19, 2026, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) officially announced the full schedule for its Luton stop. The series' core includes the **£560 Main Event** with a guaranteed prize pool of £150,000, the **£250 Mini Main** with a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000, and additional events such as the £1,000 High Roller, the £340 GUKPT Cup, the £200 Turbo, the £150 Deepstack, and the PLO event, forming a nearly ten-day intensive live tournament schedule.
GUKPT's 20th Anniversary Sixth Stop Returns to Luton
Luton is a key location in the GUKPT's long-running tournament schedule. The series just concluded its previous event there in May 2026, with Yucel Eminoglu defeating a field of 190 entries in the £1,250 Main Event to claim £57,640 from a total prize pool of £236,250.
Now, less than four months later, GUKPT has returned to Bedfordshire and rearranged two six-figure guaranteed events with different buy-in structures.

This bet consists of a £220 event fee plus a £30 commission, for a total buy-in of £250, guaranteeing a prize pool of **£100,000**. The Luton Mini Main in May this year attracted 498 entries and created a £150,000 prize pool, so the scale of this event is equally noteworthy.

The main event Day 1A will begin at 1 p.m. on September 3, followed by Day 1B at noon on September 4; Day 1C Turbo will be held at 9 p.m. that evening, giving players who arrive in Luton later a final chance to participate.
The advancing players will enter Day 2 on September 5th and return to Day 3 at 12:00 noon on September 6th, where the new GUKPT Luton Main Event champion is expected to be decided that afternoon.

The main event buy-in is £500 + £60, totaling £560, with a total guaranteed prize pool of £150,000.
Compared to the £1,250 Main Event at Luton this May, the buy-in for this Main Event is significantly lower, giving the event the opportunity to attract a larger field of participants.
A £1,000 High Roller guarantees £50,000.
The main battleground for high-stakes players is the £1,000 High Roller.
Day 1 of the tournament will take place at 3 PM on September 2nd, with a buy-in structure of £900 + £100 and a guaranteed prize pool of **£50,000**, plus an additional entry slot. Successful qualifiers will return for Day 2 on September 3rd at noon.
The organizers have also arranged multiple High Roller Must-Play Turbo Cashout Satellites, with at least two seats guaranteed for the satellite races on the evening of September 1st and at noon on September 2nd.
GUKPT Cup, PLO, and Deepstack will be launched simultaneously.
In addition to the three main multi-day events, the Luton event also features a variety of different structures.

PLO players can participate in the £150 PLO 4 Card on September 1st; short-structure players can also participate in the £200 Turbo, £150 Deepstack, £200 Last Chance, and £150 Closer. The final two days of the series also feature a guaranteed £20,000 Online Closer.

Eminogl won the Luton Grand Prix in May, while Craig Sarginson secured two PLO titles.
When GUKPT last visited Luton in May this year, Yucel “Mad Turk” Eminoglu was the biggest winner. He won the £1,250 Main Event among 190 entries and took home £57,640 from the £236,250 prize pool.
Other notable winners include Ajay Kejriwal, who took home £31,060 in the 62-player £1,650 High Roller, and Derek Boyle, who broke through the 498-player Mini Main, earning £26,775.
Craig Sarginson also achieved a PLO double in the same series, first winning a £250 PLO 4 Card and £4,710, and then taking home a £1,100 PLO High Roller, adding £19,000 to his winnings.
