At the start, Erick Lindgren was the most profitable player, while Cates was the one with the biggest losses; however, as several huge pots erupted in this episode, the leaderboard quickly changed dramatically.
The first move was a $36,675: Tilly AQ collided with Cates AK.
The first hand of the show immediately sparked a lively discussion.
Cates, in the cutoff position, raised to $150 with A♠K♦. Tilly, in the big blind, with A♥Q♦, triple-raised to $500. Cates quickly quadrupled to $1,500, and Tilly called.
Flip the card:
9♦ A♣ J♥
Tilly check-call $1,300. Both players hit a pair of aces, but Cates took the lead with a kick from his king.
The turn 10♦ gave Tilly a straight draw, and she checked again to call Cates' $3,000. The river 6♥ didn't change the hand's strength, and after Tilly checked early, Cates bet directly into the pot $12,500.
After much deliberation, Tilly decided to call. Cates revealed AK and won the pot of $36,675 with a top-to-top kick, dealing Tilly a heavy blow at the start of the round.
Jungleman Pocket K Emptys Nick Hellmuth
Cates then turned his attention to Phil Hellmuth's son, Nick Hellmuth.
Cates raised to $250 from early position with K♥K♣, Tilly called from the BTN with A♠4♦, Nick joined from the small blind with A♣J♦, and Erick Lindgren called from the big blind with 7♣5♦. The four players went to the flop.
Flip the card:
Q♥ 6♠ J♣
Nick hit a pair of Jacks and led with a $400 bet. Cates raised to $1,500. After Tilly folded, Nick shoved in $7,725, which Cates immediately called, creating a $16,600 pot.
Both players agreed to deal two community cards. The first set of 9♠ and 7♠ did not help Nick; the second set of 4♥ and 3♥ also failed to help him catch up. Cates won both times with pocket kings, clearing Nick's scoreboard. Before leaving the table, Nick hugged his father, Phil Hellmuth.
Tilly KJ dominated Deeb K-10, securing $39,000.
After losing the first big pool, Tilly really began to launch a counterattack.
Phil Hellmuth, holding 10♠9♠, raised to $300 from the HJ position, and Tilly called with K♠J♣. Shaun Deeb, in the small blind with K♣10♣, triple-raised to $1,200, and both Hellmuth and Tilly called.
Flip the card:
7♦ 5♣ K♥
Tilly and Deeb both hit a pair of Ks, but Tilly's J kick beat Deeb's 10.
Deeb continued betting $900, Hellmuth folded, and Tilly called. On the turn, Q♦, Deeb bet again $3,000, and Tilly immediately raised to $10,000.
Deeb went all in, and Tilly called with the remaining $6,700, swelling the pot to $39,000.
Both players only dealt one river card, and the 9♦ did not change the outcome. Tilly defeated Deeb's K-10 with KJ, winning the first big pot of the episode that truly put him back on the winning track.
In Pokémon 10, Tilly forces Jungleman to defeat Pokémon Q by flipping a set.
In move 161 of this episode, Tilly once again engages in a high-stakes duel with Cates.
Tilly, in the HJ position, received 10♣10♠ and raised to $200; Lindgren called with 2♥2♦, while Cates, in the small blind, received Q♥Q♣ and triple-raised to $1,000.
Tilly didn't back down, raising four times to $4,200. Lindgren folded his pocket twos, while Cates opted to call.
Flip the card:
2♠ 10♥ 9♠
Tilly hit three 10s straight, while Cates still held a super pair of pocket Qs.
After Cates checked, Tilly bet $3,000, and Cates called. The turn was a 6♥, Cates checked again, and Tilly bet $5,000.
This time Cates countered with $15,000, but Tilly immediately pushed in the remaining $49,700.
Cates fell into deep thought and regretted his earlier raise, ultimately choosing to fold his pocket queens. Tilly then revealed three 10s, proving that Cates had successfully escaped a potentially costly hand.
Phil Hellmuth lost again, losing both of his two deals with Pocket 7.
This episode was still not going well for Phil Hellmuth.
In several hands with multiple straddles, Cates, in the cutoff position, already had $400 in the pot. Hellmuth, in the small blind, limped in with 7♠7♦. Deeb, already straddled to $200, raised to $1,600 with K♦J♠.
Hellmuth then went all-in with $5,825, and Deeb called. They agreed to have two community cards dealt in the pot of $12,250.
The first flop came 6♠5♦8♦, giving Hellmuth a temporary lead. The turn A♦ gave Deeb a flush draw, and although the river wasn't a diamond, the K♥ gave him a K, allowing him to take half the pot.
The second flop, J♣10♠4♦, gave Deeb a pair of Jacks. The subsequent 9♠ and 9♥ did not help Hellmuth, and Deeb won both deals.
After losing the hand, Hellmuth sarcastically congratulated Deeb on "playing very well" and noted that he had lost more money in the last two sessions than he had in a long time.
Last move: $68, 400-point pool: Tilly's Pocket A cleared Deeb.
The hand that truly determined the biggest winner of this episode happened in the very last hand of the show.
Lindgren, in the BTN position, raised to $1,200 with J♥J♣. Deeb, in the small blind with 10♥10♦, triple-raised to $4,000. Tilly, in the Straddle position, woke up with A♠A♦ and quadruple-raised to $10,000.
Lindgren successfully folded his pocket jacks, but Deeb chose to call.
Flip the card:
6♦ 9♦ 6♣
Deeb checked, and Tilly bet $10,000. Deeb then immediately checked and went all-in with $23,400, and Tilly, holding pocket aces, called without hesitation, creating the largest pot of the round: $68,400.
Deeb requires that the public license be issued only once.
Neither the turn card 4♦ nor the river card 5♠ allowed Tilly's pocket 10s to take the lead, and Tilly's pocket aces successfully held, clearing Deeb out of the game.
This pot propelled Tilly's chip count past six figures, officially cementing her position as the biggest winner of the round.
Jennifer Tilly ultimately won by a landslide with $85,125
By the end of the game, Jennifer Tilly's score had increased from $37,975 at the start to $115,125, with a total profit of $85,125, far ahead of the other players.

From losing 36,000 in the first round to becoming the biggest winner of the day.
Jennifer Tilly's trajectory in this episode presents a stark contrast.
On her first hand, she called Cates' large river bet with AQ, losing a pot of 1TP 4T 36,675. However, against Deeb, she first won 1TP 4T 39,000 with a pair of Kings with a better kicker, and then took 1TP 4T 68,400 on the final hand with pocket Aces. Later, against Cates, she also hit trips on a flop with pocket 10s, forcing him to fold pocket Queens on the turn.
The 2005 WSOP Ladies Event champion eventually took over the table with a score of +$85,125, while Deeb started the game with a loss of only $1,225, eventually falling to -$80,000.
The 30th installment of "Hellmuth's Home Game" thus ended in a highly dramatic $68,400 pocket aces against pocket tenes. For Phil Hellmuth, playing at home still didn't bring good luck; for Jennifer Tilly, however, this night was a complete turnaround from an initial loss to become the biggest winner.
