Klemens Roiter shines again at the PokerStars EPT Barcelona event.

Klemens Roiter won the EPT Barcelona €25,000 event, earning €266,030. Vinny Lingham won the €30,000 Super High Roller warm-up, taking home €306,600. Both players achieved excellent results.

Casino Barcelona continues to be a lucky venue for Austrian player Klemens Roiter – who won the €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em No-Limit Rebuy event at the 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona. Roiter won €266,030 after a heads-up deal.

Some players seem to consistently deliver exceptional results at certain music festivals or casinos. For Roiter, the EPT Barcelona festival was just such a stage. Roiter excelled at the 2025 EPT Barcelona, accumulating five prize records, including one victory, for a total winnings of €793,585.

Fast forward to August 2026, and Roiter adds another EPT Barcelona title to his collection. The Austrian player was one of 39 entries in the €25,000 NLH No-Limit Re-entry Championship, with a total prize pool of €936,390 waiting to be claimed.

Only the top six players will receive the prize money. Kayhan Mokri finished sixth and won €65,500, becoming the first to claim the prize.

Nicholas Seward (€84,300), Jamie Dwan (€107,700), and Moroccan specialist Mehdi Chaoui (€145,100) were all eliminated, leaving Roiter and Ottomar Ladva for heads-up play. The nearly €113,000 difference between first and second place seemed significant at the time, so the two players agreed to a heads-up match.

This agreement means that Ladva will receive €267,760 after losing the final round (instead of the previously announced €210,700), while Roiter will receive €266,030 (instead of €323,090), but will also win the most important trophy and championship title.

Vinny Lingham wins his ninth six-figure prize and his first victory.

Successful entrepreneur and tech investor Vinny Lingham boasts a stellar profile on The Hendon Mob. Prior to the EPT Barcelona, Lingham had only 10 winnings since July 2024, eight of which reached six figures.

Lingham added another €306,600 to his impressive resume after winning the €30,000 Super High Roller warm-up at Casino Barcelona.

Including five re-entries, a total of 21 players are vying for a share of the €613,305 prize pool. The small field means that only the final three players will reap the rewards of their investment.

Enrico Camosci was the first player to enter the money bubble, finishing in third place with €122,705.

Lingham then defeated Finnish superstar Eelis Parssinen heads-up, with Parssinen taking home €184,000 and Lingham winning €306,600, along with his first major live poker tournament victory.

The 2026 EPT Barcelona Series will continue on August 21, featuring several major events: the €1,650 PokerStars Open, the €2,700 PokerStars Open High Roller, and the €100,000 EPT Super High Roller.
