Both British players, c0rbl1meguv and KARNA1983, were leading by about 50 big blinds, while the eventual champion, mr.diego97, was only in fourth place at the time.
Malte64's five big blinds were the first to be eliminated.
Swedish player Malte64 was the first player eliminated at the final table.
His chip stack had dropped to just over 5 big blinds when he went all-in with KJ in the button position after three raises. The original raiser, cologne97, called with A♦7♦, but the board cards didn't allow Malte64 to take the lead, and cologne97 was ultimately eliminated with Ace-high.
About 15 minutes later, Mayanking also left the event.
At that time, the starting chip leader c0rbl1meguv raised with pocket jacks in the middle position, KARNA1983 called with pocket 3s, and Mayanking joined the pot with AJ in the BTN position.
After the flop revealed a Jack-high board, c0rbl1meguv hit top set. Mayanking raised against the bet and then called his opponent's all-in, putting in his remaining 14 big blinds. After the turn, Mayanking had no chance to catch up and finished in seventh place.
Tsokhla flopped three 4s, but was still reversed by the Runner-Runner straight.
Another dramatic hand at the six-player table involved Ukrainian player Tsokhla.
Tsokhla, with approximately 13 big blinds remaining, went all-in with pocket 4s; c0rbl1meguv, in the big blind, called with Q-6.
Tsokhla hit a set of fours on the flop, seemingly gaining a huge advantage, but c0rbl1meguv ultimately improved his hand on the turn and river, completing a runner-runner straight and eliminating Tsokhla in sixth place.
Pocket 9 clashed with Pocket K, Arrivider 4i finished fifth and was eliminated.
After several hands, another Ukrainian player, Arrivider4i, was also eliminated.
He went all-in from the CO position with about 12 big blinds and pocket 9s. The action folded all the way to the big blind, where KARNA1983 had pocket kings and immediately called.
PocketK successfully held onto their lead, while Arrivider4i finished in fifth place. The entire match, from the start of the final four to the remaining four players, took only about 30 minutes.
Three Aces upgraded to four, Mr.diego97 won the decisive pot.
Shortly after the break, mr.diego97 and starting chip leader c0rbl1meguv had one of the most decisive hands of the game.
mr.diego97 hit three aces on the flop and upgraded to four aces after another ace appeared on the river. To make matters worse, the same river card also gave c0rbl1meguv a full house.
Faced with mr.diego97's raise on the river, c0rbl1meguv called. Although he wasn't eliminated immediately, he lost a huge pot and was left with only 13 big blinds, almost completely erasing his previous chip lead.
This "four pairs of gourds" hand also gave Mr.diego97 the initiative in the championship competition.
c0rbl1meguv's brief comeback ended in fourth place.
After suffering a major setback, c0rbl1meguv managed to recover some of the scoreboard.
However, he then held A♥5♥ against cologne97's pocket 3s. Despite having a lot of improving hands, he ultimately lost them all, and his score dropped to about 6 big blinds.
In the final all-in, c0rbl1meguv held J-10, while mr.diego97 countered with A-7. The Ace-high ultimately maintained the lead, and mr.diego97 eliminated the starting chip leader in fourth place.
cologne97's bounty earnings exceeded the champion's ranking prize money.
With three players remaining, cologne97 became the next to be eliminated before the second break.
He went all-in with about 12 big blinds and K♠2♠, while KARNA1983 called with A-5. Ultimately, A-high held on, bringing the match to heads-up play.
Although cologne97 only achieved third place, he had already drawn a large amount of mystery bounty on Day 1, and his final total bounty income reached $4,025. Adding the $3,500 ranking bonus, his total prize money was $7,525.
This is even higher than the runner-up KARNA1983's $6,057, and only $317 away from the champion mr.diego97's $7,842, fully demonstrating the possible difference between ranking and total income under the Mystery Bounty format.
mr.diego97 and KARNA1983 exchanged leadership multiple times.
The championship matchup was between mr.diego97 and KARNA1983.
The two players exchanged chip leaders several times after the start of the hand, with the situation not quickly shifting in either direction. At the first break, Mr.diego97 had a lead of 55.7 big blinds to 27.8 big blinds.
KARNA1983 then managed to tie the score again, but mr.diego97 quickly widened the gap again, eventually reducing his opponent to about 12 big blinds, leading to the championship decisive hand.
5-4 River card, a pair of 4s bluffs, Mr.diego97 wins the title.
In the final hand, mr.diego97 raised first with 5-4, and KARNA1983 called with 7-6.
Flip the card:
8-A-4
KARNA1983 checked and called mr.diego97's small bet. At this point, mr.diego97 was leading with a pair of fours.
The turn card was a Queen of a different suit, and both players checked.
Another 8 appears on the river, completing the community cards:
8-A-4-Q-8
KARNA1983 still only had 7 high cards, but chose to push all of his remaining 12.3 big blinds into an overpot all-in bluff into a pot of 8.7 big blinds.
Mr.diego97 held only 5-4, with just a pair of 4s on a paired board, so he went into a long period of thought. Eventually, he called, successfully catching his opponent's pure bluff.
This river call officially ended the tournament, with mr.diego97 winning the 888poker Mystery Bounty Main Event.

From the fourth to the fourth Ace in the final table, then use the hero to call and win the game.
mr.diego97's path to the championship was not based on starting chip lead. He entered the final eight with 34 big blinds and fourth place in chips, accumulating chips early in the final table, and then upsetting c0rbl1meguv with triplets in a four-handed game, officially taking over the match.
The final championship hand was completely different from typical strong hand clashes. Facing KARNA1983's overpot all-in on the river with 12.3 big blinds, mr.diego97 made a hero call with just a pair of 4s, successfully spotting a 7-blind bluff.
Breaking through 779 entries, winning a crucial pot with four Aces, and finally catching a bluff to claim the title, German player mr.diego97 ultimately turned this $109 buy-in into a $7,842 total prize and won the 888poker Mystery Bounty Main Event.
