Daniel Negreanu held a large chip stack at the WSOP $100K final table. Daniel Negreanu is in second place with 11,465,000 chips at the $100,000 PLO High Roller unofficial final table, aiming for his eighth WSOP bracelet. Artur Martirosian leads with 14,320,000 chips.

Daniel Negreanu is currently in second place with 11,465,000 chips at the informal final table of the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event, aiming to win his first WSOP bracelet this summer.

As of last week, Negreanu had lost over $500,000 in this year's World Series of Poker, but all that could soon change. The champion's prize of $2,257,718 awaits the winner, who could completely erase this loss with a fifth-place finish or better.

Nevertheless, this marks the third time the "poker prodigy" has appeared at the final table in the series—previously he finished eighth in the $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack ($24,347) and seventh in the $25,000 High Roller PLO/NLH Mixed ($152,954).

If Negreanu can overcome all obstacles, he will not only regain substantial profits this summer, but also win his eighth WSOP gold bracelet.

Martirosian is leading the pack, aiming for a second gold bracelet in 2026.

While Negreanu holds second place with the second-largest chip stack, a familiar face holds first place: Artur Martirosian.

This top Russian player is seeking his second WSOP bracelet this summer (his fifth in the individual category), and he and Negreanu have already pulled ahead of the other players in the second afternoon's event.

Although Martirosian never faced the risk of the bubble bursting, he must have breathed a sigh of relief because he avoided repeating the mistake of the $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller event—when he missed out on a huge prize by being beaten twice in a row during the prize bubble.

Nevertheless, he personally broke the bubble here – eliminating Naoya Kihara, who was enjoying the peak of his summer career, in 14th place, ensuring that he and the rest of the players locked in the minimum prize money of $204,938.

Elsewhere on the chip leaderboard, Sean Winter has amassed a significant chip stack as he continues his quest for his first WSOP bracelet, a title he still scrambles to win; while Jeremy Ausmus remains in contention, aiming to add another title to his already impressive WSOP record.
