The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event continues, and in addition to the numerous world-class professional players vying for the world championship, the Mizrachi family has once again become the focus of attention.

After Main Event Day 1, the 21-year-oldPaul MizrachiSuccessfully bagging a large number of scoreboards not only secured his advancement to the second round but also made him the best performer among all members of the Mizrachi family participating in the competition. Just a week earlier, his father, Michael Mizrachi, had won the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, earning his ninth WSOP gold bracelet.

Paul said that it was because he escaped this ordeal that he was able to face the challenges with a more relaxed mindset throughout the day.

He frankly admitted:

"After that hand, I felt completely relaxed, like I was playing a free tournament."

It was this shift in mindset that helped him steadily accumulate points and ultimately complete Day 1 with an outstanding score.

Following in his father's footsteps, he stepped onto the WSOP stage.

Paul is still a poker newcomer, with only about $5,000 in live tournament winnings.

If he makes it into the money in this year's main event, it will be the best live result of his career.

This summer is especially significant for Paul.

Just a week ago, his father, Michael Mizrachi, won the $10,000 PLO Championship, taking home his ninth WSOP gold bracelet and setting a new career record.

Now Paul is also on the WSOP Main Event stage, hoping to continue his family's glorious tradition.

The Mizrachi family is once again in the spotlight.

For many years, the Mizrachi family has been one of the most iconic poker families in the WSOP.
