PokerStars on FanDuel Night Star Tournament Implements Player-Friendly Adjustments

PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel has increased the starting chip count for the Night Star tournament from 5,000 to 10,000 and raised the guarantee to give players deeper stacks and longer registration periods.

PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel, the online poker site for US players, is making some major changes to its popular Night Star tournaments, which will bring more benefits to players.

This legitimate online poker site, which joined the FanDuel brand earlier this year, has launched numerous large multi-table tournaments and series, attracting a large number of participants. These include the Night Star series, which began in April and offers excellent value to players. But this tournament is about to get even better.

Night Star fully upgraded

According to the @PokerStarsUSA X account, the starting chips for this tournament, which starts daily at 6:40 PM, have been increased from 5,000 to 10,000. This is not the only major change to the event.

With the increased starting stacks, late entry will now be closed at the 400/800 blind levels. The guaranteed prize pool for Tuesdays and Thursdays has been increased to $25,000, while the guaranteed prize pool for other days is $22,500. These changes will significantly benefit players who prefer deep-stacked poker, and more importantly, provide players with longer entry and re-entry periods. So far, player reaction to the Night Star changes has been quite positive.

The Night Star tournament is by no means the only way to extract huge value from MTTs on PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel. For example, the $200 Thrill event at 7:30 p.m. guarantees a prize pool of $18,000.

PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel is legal and licensed in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The merger with FanDuel creates larger tournament sizes and tournament guarantees, as well as more tables available in cash games.

PokerStars will also host a major live poker tournament in the United States from August 26 to September 7 – the Maryland Poker Championship. The 16 events will feature a total guaranteed prize pool of over $1 million, with the highlight being the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event held from September 3 to 7 at Live! Poker Rooms in Baltimore.
