RakeRoom is giving away a $5,000 Caribbean package at a charity poker tournament in Las Vegas.

RakeRoom drew a $5,000 Caribbean package trip at the Peak Humanity Charity Poker Tournament in Las Vegas, raising over 150,000 $ in total, with many high-stakes poker stars participating.

This summer's Peak Humanity charity poker tournament in Las Vegas attracted numerous high-stakes poker players, culminating in content creator Nicholas "On Tilt Nick" Splawn as the big winner, who emerged victorious from a star-studded field to claim the trophy and substantial prize money. But this wasn't the only award presented at the charity poker event that night.

As part of the evening's fundraising event, RakeRoom—a sponsor of the charity event held on the rooftop of the Palms in Las Vegas—hosted a raffle during the celebrations for a Caribbean Escape Package worth $5,000. This means that one yet-to-be-announced lucky winner will receive five nights' accommodation and a travel allowance to embark on a Caribbean adventure.

Six-figure donations raised for charity

High-stakes poker players are no strangers to big numbers, and this charity event, hosted in June by poker presenters Henry Kilbane and Joey Ingram, certainly lived up to that. The $2,500 buy-in event generated over $80,000 in prize money, while the fundraising event raised over $150,000.

The event benefited from several international charities, including Peak Humanity, MG52, the Thai Poker Sports Association (TPSA), Space 2.0, and Nation's Cry, to raise funds for "children's education, welfare, and community projects in Tanzania, Thailand, Malaysia, and Las Vegas."

The event was attended by many notable figures, including poker legend Gus Hansen, content creators Nikki Limo and Ethan "Rampage" Yau, as well as high-stakes professionals such as Dan "Jungleman" Cates, Seth Davies, Kevin Rabichow, Manig Loeser, Santhosh Suvarna, and current GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri.

RakeRoom is a platform that connects poker players with casinos and hotels and offers discounted accommodations. The $5,000 package includes a five-night stay at a five-star hotel in St. Martin and an additional $1,500 airfare travel allowance.

After the draw, the lucky winner will be ready to enjoy a week of Bahamian sunshine.
