RGPS Gold Expedition to begin on August 18 in Caesars, Southern Indiana. The RunGood Poker Series Gold Adventure will be held in Caesars, Indiana from August 18 to 23, featuring 10 ring events with a total guaranteed prize pool of $260,000 and a Main Event guaranteed $200,000.

The RunGood Poker Series will head to Southern Indiana with its team and a substantial guarantee in two weeks.

More specifically, this popular poker tournament will head to Caesars, Elizabeth, Indiana on August 18 for a six-day series of 10 ring events, culminating in the final round on August 23. The entire series boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $260,000. PokerNews will provide exclusive live coverage of the Main Event.

Series Highlights

The Indiana Series started slightly differently than usual – beginning with the $300 Seniors Ring event for players 50 and older. Later that evening, there was also the $200 Team NLH Ring event, giving players multiple opportunities to win rings on the first day.

August 19th marks the start of the $400 PokerNews Powerstack, a highly anticipated ring event at every RGPS stop. The event guarantees a prize pool of $50,000, with Groups A and B running on the same day. Successful chip packs will return to Caesars on August 20th for the final round to determine a champion.

As is typical of RGPS, tournament players will experience a variety of buy-ins and poker variations. While No-Limit Texas Hold'em is the main event, it's not the only option. Non-Texas Hold'em players have several events to choose from, including the $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship on August 20th.

The main event of the tournament is the $800 Main Event, an NLH championship offering a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, which PokerNews will cover live from start to finish. The tournament will kick off Day 1, Group A, on August 20th, followed by Day 1, Group B, on August 21st, and Day 1, Groups C and D, on August 22nd. The surviving players will return on August 23rd to compete for the championship title.

The final day also features a ring event – the $300 Blackjack Bounty NLH event.
