The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, providing an excellent tournament experience for casual and recreational players. However, a select few of the top poker players consider this award-winning circuit their primary battleground.
These include Daniel Lowery, the all-time leader in both tour rings and money list, as well as Missouri's top player Blair Hinkle and Tennessee's top player Preston McEwen.
With the RunGood team successfully concluding the $400 PokerNews Cup at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, here are five top RGPS players to watch. You can track their performance through the PokerNews MyPlayers feature.
Daniel Lowery
If there's one name synonymous with RunGood, it's Daniel Lowery. This Arkansas all-time money list leader and sawmill owner boasts over ten RGPS rings, including multiple Main Event titles, and holds the top spot on the tour money list with $562,795.
In April 2025, Lowery emerged victorious from a field of 496 players at the RGPS Joplin Main Event, winning $71,398. A year later, he surpassed that performance at the RGPS Passport Season Dallas Main Event with $100,007.
This isn't the only tour where Lowery has dominated. He boasts 20 WSOP Tour rings, second only to Maurice Hawkins on the all-time rings list. In total, Lowery's winnings on The Hendon Mob approach $4.2 million.

Preston McEwen
Another prolific ring collector is Preston McEwen. McEwen ranks sixth on Tennessee's all-time money list with $2.9 million in live winnings and has won 11 RGPS rings since 2018, along with $195,673 in tour prize money.
McEwen's biggest RunGood victory came in November 2024, when he defeated a strong final table including Jonathan Turner and runner-up John Holley to win $57,206 in the 2024 RGPS Rungood Resort Tunica Main Event.
This Memphis native also boasts 11 WSOP Circuit rings, placing him among the top players such as Roland Israelashvili, Corey Paggeot, and Michael Lavin.

Tyler Patterson
Although Las Vegas poker pro Tyler Patterson only has two RunGood titles, he made both victories extremely valuable.
Patterson ranks second on the all-time money list for the tour with $477,431 in prize money. He won the 2023 $2,500 RGPS Checkpoint season finale, taking home $200,422, the largest winnings ever for RunGood. A year earlier, Patterson finished as runner-up in the same event, earning $156,845.
Patterson's total live prize money is $4.2 million. He won his second RunGood title in 2025, also in Thunder Valley. He won the $1,100 RunGood to the Moon event, with a prize of $60,185.

Blair Hinkle
With four main event titles, Blair Hinkle of Missouri is a force to be reckoned with on the RunGood Tour.
Hinkle ranks third on the all-time money list for the tour with $439,842 in prize money, most of which came from his victory in the RGPS Kansas City $1,000 Main Event in May 2024, winning $92,228.
Hinkle's other Main Event victories include $35,985 in the 2019 RGPS Oklahoma City $575 Main Event and $44,012 in the 2019 RGPS Showbound Tulsa Main Event ($675).
Hinkle has also achieved success outside of the RunGood circuit, accumulating $5.6 million in live prize money, ranking second on Missouri's all-time prize money list.

Brian Winter
Brian Winter is a relatively new face on the RunGood Tour. The poker pro, with $251,229 in tournament winnings, won his first RunGood event in February 2022 and quickly rose to prominence, winning the RGPS Player of the Year award in 2023-24.
Winter's victories include $16,228 in the 2024 $660 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Max event and $16,760 in the 2023 $200 No-Limit Hold'em event.
Also in 2023, Winter finished as runner-up in the RGPS Tunica $600 main event, winning his career-best $41,894.
