Kristen Foxen gained significant momentum during the Triton Main Event, but her YouTube stream was unexpectedly taken down.

International news

Triton Poker's YouTube stream was unexpectedly taken down, with the official explanation being a technical issue, but it may be related to the platform's crackdown on poker content. The $100K Main Event is currently underway in Jeju Island, with Kristen Foxen gaining momentum and Chinese player Xu Yang currently in the lead. The stream can be watched on Kick, Twitch, and the Triton App.

International Poker News Kristen Foxen gained significant momentum during the Triton Main Event, but her YouTube stream was unexpectedly taken down.

Triton Poker's smooth YouTube live stream disappeared without warning on Monday and has not been restored since.

Triton's official statement is that the YouTube live stream was "currently interrupted due to technical issues." However, the last YouTube link posted on their official X account may suggest a different reason.

Over the past year, YouTube has launched a massive crackdown on poker content, warning many celebrities and even big names like Daniel Negreanu complaining about numerous problems with their channels.

This is very unfortunate for Triton. Their flagship event—the $100,000 no-limit Texas Hold'em Main Event—took place on Tuesday in Jeju Island. While other viewing options remain, the impact is significant. The live stream is still ongoing. KickTriton Poker Plus App and Twitch It takes place on the channel.

This is not the first time Triton Live has clashed with YouTube.

Last September, when Alex Foxen was playing a high-stakes heads-up match against Ossi Ketola, Triton's live stream was removed, causing viewers to miss what was then the largest pot in televised poker history—a whopping $11 million, which Foxen ultimately lost.

The main event features a gathering of top players.

If you successfully watched the live stream, you'll see that there were 151 entries in the main event Day 1, with 78 advancing.

Chinese athlete Xu Yang is currently in the lead, closely followed by a group of top stars: Nacho Barbero is in second place, Ren Lin is in third, followed by Kristen Foxen, Stephen Chidwick and Bryn Kenney.

Foxen gained momentum after eliminating Sergio Aido in a crucial hand. In that hand, Aido made two pair on the flop, but Foxen hit the nuts on the river. You can watch the hand below. However, don't feel sorry for the Spanish pro—he re-entered the game and ultimately finished the day in 12th place.

This hand brought Foxen's chip stack to 436,000. She then doubled up in another crucial hand against Mario Mosböck.

Foxen raised pre-flop with [out], and Mosböck called with [out]. He had a plan for this hand and raised Foxen's bet on the flop with [out]. The timing wasn't good, but he didn't slow down.

He bet 100,000 on the turn [out] and went all-in on the river [out]. This left him with only 35,000 chips, which he lost to Bryn Kenney in the next hand.

On the other hand, WSOP Paradise Super Main Event champion Bernhard Binder, after winning the $125,000 buy-in event and earning $2,137,953 in prize money on Monday, is looking for another spectacular achievement. He, along with Dan 'Jungleman' Cates and Jean-Noel Thorel, all finished Day 1 with average stacks. Other strong contenders such as Adrian Mateos, Jason Koon, Jesse Lonis, Ike Haxton, and Seth Davies are also still in contention.

You can watch the $100,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em Main Event Day 2 live on Wednesday – stay tuned! TwitchKickTriton Poker Plus App...and perhaps YouTube will also resume live streaming.
