The USOP Ha Long Bay Mini Main Event has officially begun.

The 2026 USOP Ha Long Bay, Vietnam event entered its fourth day of competition, with the Mini Main Event, another major event in the series, officially kicking off.

As one of the most anticipated events at this year's USOP Ha Long Bay, the Mini Main Event boasts a total guaranteed prize pool of 15 billion VND (approximately US$570,000) and a buy-in of 20 million VND, attracting a large number of professional poker players from Asia and international poker enthusiasts.

On the day of the competition, there were continuous events, including:

• High Roller Series 6-Man Tournament DAY1
• Superstar High Roller Challenge DAY2
• One Drop of Blood
• Mini High Roller
• Run two championships
• Super Speed Race

The entire venue maintained extremely high levels of activity from day to night.

A total of 432 participants competed in Groups A and B.

The mini main event Day 1 is divided into five groups: A, B, C, D, and E. Groups A and B will start on the first day.

According to official data:

• Group A participants: 240
• Group B participants: 192

A total of 432 people participated in the competition.

The tournament uses a 30-minute blind level structure. After the registration deadline, the number of participants was reduced to 12.5%. The advancing players not only secured the guaranteed prize money, but also qualified for Day 2.

The chip leader in Group DAY1A will also receive an additional 60 million Vietnamese dong.

Wu Chengshan strongly tops Group A CL

After several rounds of intense competition, Chinese player Wu Chengshan continued to exert his strength in the second half of the competition, and finally won the CL (Chip Leader) position in Group A with 660,000 chips.

In addition to becoming the chip leader in Group A, Wu Chengshan also successfully won an extra 60 million Vietnamese dong.

During the day's competition, he demonstrated exceptional deep stack control, successfully extending his lead in several crucial pots and ultimately securing the top spot in Group A.

With Day 2 about to begin, Wu Chengshan has officially become one of the top contenders for the Mini Main Event title.

Wang Chen advances strongly to Day 2

Besides Wu Chengshan, another Chinese player, Wang Chen, also performed brilliantly.

In a crucial hand at level 18, Wang Chen faced off against long-stacked player Song Hoang Phung.
