Champions Social Club has officially opened in Dallas, becoming North Texas's newest large-scale poker room. Offering members-only cash games and tournaments, it is currently free of charge this month, with a grand opening ceremony scheduled for May 30-31.
The long-awaited opening day of the Champions Social Club in Dallas has passed, and the North Texas metropolitan area has welcomed a brand new main poker room.
Champions Club operates one of Houston's premier poker clubs. This hotel-affiliated poker room has hosted some of the biggest tournaments in Texas Hold'em history, including the recently concluded PGT Open Main Event, where Vladyslav Shovkovyi won $180,000.
As its poker rooms continue to thrive in Houston, the company has opened a second location in Dallas months after winning a key legal battle with the city of Dallas.
The all-new Champions Social Club Dallas
於 May 14 The Champions Social Club Dallas, open to the public, is located on the site of the once-landmark III Forks steakhouse, a stunning two-story upscale dining establishment.
Champions has taken over the now-closed legendary steakhouse, planning to transform it into a private social club for poker games, similar to other poker rooms in Texas. Texas has strict anti-gambling laws, allowing legal poker activities only when the economic benefits of the game accrue entirely to the players.
Therefore, the new poker room was planned to follow the model of competitors such as Texas Card House and The Lodge Card Club, charging players membership fees and seating fees instead of taking a cut, which is a necessary condition for maintaining legality in Texas. However, the city government had worked for a long time to prevent the planned poker room from opening.
After a heated hearing with the Board of Adjustments (BOA), Champions Club ultimately won a favorable vote in September 2025, paving the way for the poker club's opening. Months later, after spending millions of dollars transforming the former five-star steakhouse into a five-star poker club, Dallas welcomed its newest major poker room.
The grand opening ceremony is scheduled for May 30-31 The event will be held, and membership fees will be waived until the end of this month. Starting in June, club members will have two options: "Social Membership" or "Gold Membership".
According to the website, the monthly fee for "Social Membership" is... $200This allows members to "use club facilities and participate in all member celebrations, including dining events, themed parties, and casual game nights." The monthly fee for "Gold Membership" is... $800It can enhance the "club experience" for members, allowing unlimited access to scheduled member activities, including live entertainment, poker games, themed events, and other premium amenities.
Gold members enjoy numerous benefits, including dining discounts and unlimited poker game time. For those who don't want to purchase a monthly Gold membership, there are also other options available. $60 A single-day pass. Players must be club members or guests of members.
This new poker room will host cash games and tournaments. The tournament schedule is expected to be announced soon. Cash games will be held regularly, primarily... 1/1/2 and 2/2/It offers 5-point No-Limit Texas Hold'em, but also provides Pot-Limit Omaha and higher-stakes games as needed.
Champions Social Club will offer a special menu in the poker area. In addition, Executive Chef Connie Trujillo, who has served in the building for over 30 years, can provide a full-fledged Texas steakhouse experience for private parties and the attached restaurant.
