The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) entered Day 46, with multiple bracelet events continuing at the Paris and Horseshoe venues in Las Vegas. Although no bracelet event was originally scheduled to produce a champion for the day, Event #87: $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha was extended to Day 46, and Matthew Shepsky ultimately won the title, ensuring that a bracelet was awarded for the day.

The biggest highlight of Day 46 was Event #90: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em. After the intense battle of Day 2, only 13 players remained in this high-stakes event. Daniel Rezaei led with 7,345,000 chips, while Daniel Negreanu was in sixth place with 4,845,000 chips, still in contention for his second gold bracelet in this series.

Event #90: The $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em narrowed the field to 13 players on Day 2. Daniel Rezaei currently leads with 7,345,000 chips, but his lead is precarious, with world-class rivals such as Daniel Smiljkovic, Bryn Kenney, Eric Yanovsky, and Erik Seidel close behind.

Daniel Negreanu is currently ranked sixth with 4,845,000 chips and approximately 40 big blinds. This is a crucial opportunity for Negreanu to once again contend for a gold bracelet at this year's WSOP; a victory in this high-stakes event would add another significant achievement to his series.

The total prize pool for this tournament is $9,595,000, with the champion taking home $2,276,691, and the top three finishers all receiving seven-figure prizes. The final 13 players will return on the next day to compete directly for the championship and gold bracelet.

Farhad Jamasi leads Pick Your PLO, 10 players vie for gold bracelet

Another event nearing its end was Event #91: $1,500 Pick Your PLO. This special format is a dealer pick type, but the options are limited to Pot-Limit Omaha variants. After two days of competition, Farhad Jamasi holds a commanding lead with 7,005,000 chips, more than double that of second-place Sergio Benso.

This event attracted 857 entries, with a total prize pool of $1,137,667. The remaining 10 players will compete for the $196,431 first prize and a WSOP gold bracelet on the next day.

Event #92: $3,000 TORSE attracted 457 entries on Day 1, creating a total prize pool of $1,220,190. At the end of Day 1, 157 players advanced, with Chris Hunichen leading with 432,500 chips, ahead of second-place Menikos Panagiotou with 310,000.

This event also features many well-known players, including Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Viktor Blom, Robert Mizrachi, David Bach, Jesse Lonis, and Naoya Kihara, adding to the excitement of the upcoming matches.

Gladiators and Mid-Stakes Championship continue to expand their rosters

Event #88: $300 Gladiators of Poker completed Day 1c. This group had 2,934 entries, with 103 players advancing after 22 levels. David Kenniston became the Day 1c chip leader with 3,155,000 chips, followed by Julian Menhardt and Manuel Luna in second and third place respectively. The event has now accumulated 7,235 entries, with a prize pool of $1,701,828, and Day 1d is still ongoing, so the tournament could potentially grow further.

In Event #89:$3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship, Day 1c attracted 1,634 entries, with 520 players advancing. Robert McAdam led the group with 488,000 chips, followed by Ryan Plant and Rohit Mariwalla. Alec Torelli also finished in the top ten with 318,500 chips, advancing to Day 2.

The upcoming WSOP Day 47 will feature several main events. Event #82: $10,000, the WSOP Main Event, will enter Day 6 and become the biggest highlight of the day; the final 13 players in Event #90, the High Stakes event, and the remaining 10 players in Event #91, Pick Your PLO, are expected to determine their champions. Meanwhile, Event #93: $1,500, The Closer No-Limit Hold'em, and Event #94: $10,000, the 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship will also officially begin.

With the main event entering its later stages and the high-stakes finals underway, top players such as Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Bryn Kenney, Kristen Foxen, and Chris Brewer are still vying for the gold bracelet. Day 47 is expected to be one of the most exciting days of the second half of this year's WSOP.
