"I'm going all in black!" The WSOP million-dollar mystery bounty winner reveals himself. Jonathan Schiller won the WSOP $1,000,000 Mystery Million prize, becoming the only seven-figure winner out of 22,811 entries. He plans to use the money to pay off debts, invest, and take his family on vacation.

"I'm going all in on black!" Jonathan Schiller joked after winning the $1,000,000 top prize on Day 2 of the World Series of Poker $1,000 Mystery Million event at the 2026 World Series of Poker.

With 22,811 entries (making it the fourth largest event in WSOP history), only one seven-figure mystery prize awaited the lucky winner, and this 38-year-old recreational player struck it rich.

After the initial shock began to subside, Schiller confirmed in an interview with PokerNews that he wouldn't actually put his windfall on the roulette wheel; he had better plans for the money. His top priority: a family vacation to "the happiest place on earth" with his wife and children.

Life-changing bonus

Schiller, who makes a living from Daily Fantasy Sports, said of his plans for the money: "It will allow me to pay off some debts, settle some of my mortgage, and buy a new car. I probably won't change much. Honestly, I'll invest most of it. It gives my wife and me some security."

Of course, there will also be time to have fun. "The kids will have a great holiday. I mean, they'll be very happy," he said with a broad smile.

When asked if there were any places he wanted to go, Schiller said, "We've actually booked a cruise, but I know they want to go to the new 'Berk Island' at Disney World, so I think that might be the first thing we book." A little tip for Mr. Schiller: that attraction is actually at Universal Studios Orlando, but you have time to find out before you book.

Unfortunately, the nature of the bounty draw meant that his family wouldn't be in town to celebrate together. "I was thinking, 'If I make it to the final table, I'll send you all flying over.' I never imagined I'd win the million-dollar prize in the golden chest. It's insane," Schiller said, shaking his head with a laugh of disbelief.

As for tonight? "I do have two bowling friends here, so I might go meet up with them. It could be a really fun night. I mean, I hope so, but I'm exhausted. I'm completely worn out." This is hardly surprising, considering he still has a lot of adrenaline pumping in his veins.

Schiller won't be the first player to find a seven-figure mystery envelope at the 2026 WSOP. Earlier this summer, Andrew Shelton became a millionaire by finding the $1,000,000 mystery prize in the inaugural Mini Mystery Million.

That prize doubled the net worth of this recreational poker player and remains his only prize at the 2026 WSOP.
