WPT SHRPS is in full swing, with several champions emerging.

The 2026 World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown (SHRPS) has been held since April 8th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event has produced over 30 champions to date, attracting numerous professional and amateur players and serving as a warm-up for the upcoming WSOP season.

Among them, Jerry Wong, a finalist in the 2016 WSOP Main Event, and Dylan Smith, a regular high-stakes player, successfully won the championship, becoming one of the focal points of this series.

Dylan Smith wins HORSE championship, showcasing his talent.

In the $600 buy-in HORSE mixed event, Dylan Smith emerged victorious from a field of 67 players, winning the $12,135 prize. Despite Smith's usual participation in higher stakes events ($10,000 and above), he demonstrated overwhelming dominance in this tournament.

The final table boasted a star-studded lineup, including Serbian player Damjan Radanov and 12-time WSOP Circuit ring winner John Holley. Ultimately, Smith defeated Ahmet Alper heads-up to claim the title. His total live tournament winnings have now surpassed $5.1 million.

Jerry Wong adds another glory to his dominance in Mixed Triple Draw.

Another event, the $600 Mixed Triple Draw, attracted 66 participants, with 9 ultimately making it into the money. Jerry Wong, demonstrating his strong mixed-game skills, fought his way through the competition, eventually defeating Eric Polier in heads-up play to claim the $12,010 first-place prize.

This victory also brought Wong's career total winnings to over $6.55 million, further proving his top position in the hybrid gaming field.

Million-dollar prize winners emerge one after another, making the competition fierce.

In addition to the two events mentioned above, this year's SHRPS also produced several six-figure prize winners. In the $400 NLH Deep Stack event, Colombian player Sebastian Toro Henao defeated 4,782 opponents to win $201,030.

The $800 Platinum Stack tournament attracted 2,937 participants, with a total prize pool of $2,070,585. Johnny Bromberg ultimately won the tournament, taking home a career-high $258,125 in prize money.

The WPT SHRPS Main Event is about to kick off, with a guaranteed prize pool of three million igniting anticipation.

The highlight of this series – the WPT SHRPS Main Event with a $3,500 buy-in and a guaranteed $3,000,000 prize pool – will officially kick off on April 24.

The main event features two start days, Day 1A and Day 1B, and is expected to attract a large number of players. Looking back at last year's event, Arthur Peacock emerged victorious from 1,754 players to win the $776,000 first prize, demonstrating the event's consistently high competitiveness and high rewards.
