A crazy four-way bet occurred in the Borgata tournament, with K, Q, and J all appearing together.

The Borgata Summer Poker Open saw a crazy four-handed all-in game where the King, Queen, and Jack all came up at once. Defending champion James Lauer leads the deep-stacked opening event with a seven-figure chip stack.

On Day 1, Group E, a huge commotion broke out at Table 12 – four players pushed all their chips into the center of the pot.

At the start of Level 7 (blinds 400/800), Kole Lekic, Daniel Leahy, Ben Weaver, and John Dorsey went all in, creating a main pot of 42,300, and side pots of 59,300 and 200.

Lekic reviewed part of the action, describing the hand as an "all-in feast".

Dorsey opened the pot from the under-the-gun position, and Weaver went all-in for 19,800 from the next position. Leahy called with 19,700 of his entire stack, and Lekic then poured in his last 10,100 from the small blind. Dorsey had a chip lead over everyone but only slightly more, and he chose to call.

When the dealer revealed the flop of K♥J♥7♣, the table erupted—Lekic had top set, and Leahy had middle set. The turn, 9♣, didn't change much; Dorsey was already drawing dead, while Leahy maintained his lead in the biggest side pot.

But the drama wasn't over. The river card, Q♦, gave Weaver a set of Qs, surpassing Leahy and winning two side pots, while Lekic's set of Ks remained the best in the main pot, successfully doubling up fourfold. Leahy was eliminated in this hand, and Dorsey, with very few chips left, was also eliminated shortly after.

Defending champion Lauer is in a favorable position to defend his title.

The Deepstack Opening Tournament has completed four of the six starting groups, after which the players will merge into Day Two.

In the first two groups, defending champion James Lauer immediately sent a strong signal. Lauer topped the leaderboard in Group A on Day 1 with 1,140,000 chips, becoming the first player to pack a seven-figure stack, and launching his title defense in a spectacular fashion. Last year, Lauer emerged victorious from a field of 2,026 entries, winning the $164,830 first-place prize.

Day 1 Group A attracted 378 entries, with 48 players making it into the money and 31 advancing. Leo Saiag (758,000) and Scott Lesh (625,000) tied for the top of the leaderboard with Lauer, while Bijay Lama broke the money bubble by defeating Hector Santucci in a coin flip.

As the $600 Deepstack Opening Event continues into Sunday's Day 2, the BSPO has already produced three champions.

Corrie Samuels is the biggest winner so far, taking home the $9,000 first-place prize after a heads-up deal in the $650 One Shot Freeze. Alex Ortiz Vazquez won the $250 Monster Stack Turbo Night event, while an anonymous player won the $250 Friday Night Super Deep Stack Frenzy.
