Brandon Wilson almost broke the bubble to win the Super High Roller Bowl with 1 TP 4 T 100K and a $1.1 million reward. Brandon Wilson rallied from a near-bubble deficit to win the Super High Roller Bowl XI, earning $1,125,000. He beat Nick Petrangelo, who finished second with $700,000. Alex Foxen finished third.

Brandon Wilson was just one card away from the bubble on Day 2 of the $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl XI in Las Vegas, but the American high-stakes pro survived and ultimately won the prestigious event, taking home $1,125,000.

Wilson defeated fellow American Nick Petrangelo, who had just won the Triton Jeju $150,000 10th Anniversary Special a few weeks earlier, with a prize of $2.2 million, and was seeking his second major victory. However, Petrangelo ultimately settled for second place with a prize of $700,000.

Saturday's final table also included GPI 2026 money list leader Adrian Mateos (5th place – $215,000), high-stakes pro Jeremy Ausmus (4th place – $310,000) and Alex Foxen (3rd place – $450,000), the latter maintaining a chip lead throughout the final table until Wilson doubled up and took the lead.

The Super High Roller Bowl is one of the biggest events on the PokerGO Tour (PGT) schedule, attracting 28 players this year with a prize pool of $2,800,000. In the previous Super High Roller Bowl $100,000 PLO event, local pro Sean Rafael defeated the red-hot Joao Simao to win $1,150,000.

With only six players remaining and just five spots in the money, Wilson faced the bubble on Day Two against Kristen Foxen. She went all-in with a flush draw and an overpair against Foxen's overpair, leaving her with only one card. According to a PokerGO update, Wilson hit her overpair on the river, shortening Foxen's stack, and she subsequently became the bubble after a hand that cost the Foxen family hundreds of thousands of chips.

Wilson made another crucial double on day three, his AK defeating Alex Foxen's pocket tens on the flop, who then finished in third after leading the tournament for the final two days.

Wilson had a slight chip lead over Petrangelo when heads-up play began. In the final showdown, Petrangelo bluffed three streets with a smaller pair, while Wilson called with a second pair, eventually making a straight.

Las Vegas is experiencing severe weather this weekend, but the tournaments at the PokerGO studios are just beginning to heat up.

The Poker Masters series begins this week and runs until October 23, culminating in the $51,000 NLH Series Finals. PokerNews will be providing live coverage of the Poker Masters.

Wilson had an outstanding performance at last year's Poker Masters, winning the $25,000 Festival Finals and a prize of $464,000.
