      On August 12, 2026, the APL X P1 OSAKA 2026 II, co-hosted by Ace Poker League (APL) and P1, officially kicked off at the Hilton Osaka in Japan. This marks APL's second visit to Osaka this year. The series will run until August 16, featuring 39 events over five days with a total prize pool of 100 million yen. The opening day featured eight events, with Event #2 Mystery Bounty attracting the most attention. The three starting combinations drew 476 entries, with 86 players advancing. Meanwhile, seven single-day events on the first day produced champions, with Korean player Soo Hak Eo winning Top Gear Sprint I, becoming the first Korean player to win the series. The Mystery Bounty attracted 476 entries, with 86 advancing to Day 2. Event #2 Mystery Bounty, with a 5 million yen guarantee, was held from August 12th to 13th. The first day was divided into three starting groups: Day 1A, Day 1B, and Turbo Day 1C, with intense competition continuing from the afternoon until late at night. A total of 476 entries were recorded across the three groups, with 86 players securing Day 2 slots. The champion will be revealed on the second day of competition. All 50 slots sold out quickly, with Ariko securing the Osaka High Roller Opener. In addition to Mystery Bounty, this year's APL Osaka also features a limited-slot Single Day High Roller event each day. The first high roller event of the series, Event #3 Osaka High Roller Opener, had a 50-player limit. The event filled up within approximately two hours of starting at 2 PM, reflecting the high level of participation on opening day. Ultimately, Japanese player Ariko emerged victorious, taking home the 1.5 million yen prize and the championship trophy, becoming the first high roller champion of this series. Soo Hak Eo defeated Kim Tae-hwan to claim the first title for the Korean contingent. The final event of the opening day, Event #8 Top Gear Sprint I, featured a heads-up match between two Korean players. Soo Hak Eo fought his way to the final two, facing his Korean opponent in the heads-up match.
