World champion Joe McKeehen wins the SHRPO Championship with a prize of $462,600. 2015 WSOP Main Event champion Joe McKeehen won the SHRP Championship, earning $462,600. Raminder Singh, Jean Laurent, and Mehmet Siginc each won four titles, writing a new chapter in SHRP Series history.

Joe McKeehen added another significant victory to his poker resume by winning the $5,300 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) tournament on Tuesday.

The 2015 WSOP Main Event champion wasn't the only focus. In fact, three players each won four events in this series, a remarkable achievement considering no player had ever won four titles in the same SHRP series before.

Raminder Singh currently holds the record with 20 SHRP titles, becoming the first player to achieve four. Jean Laurent tied Singh's record two days later, and just hours after we reported on this, a third player, Mehmet Siginc, won $92,017 in the $3,000 Big 4 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em event through a three-way deal, securing his fourth SHRP title at the 2026 SHRP – an event held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

WSOP Main Event champion wins another title.

McKeehen was one of 673 players in the tournament, and he faced a tough challenge at the final table. He faced several experienced veterans, including Loni Hui and Darren Rabinowitz (who had just won a gold bracelet at the WSOP, preventing Phil Hellmuth from extending his gold bracelet record).

But McKeehen has proven his ability to win major tournaments multiple times, as demonstrated in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. The world champion defeated Hui in third place ($250,000) with pocket queens against pocket eights. He started heads-up with a substantial lead over David Greufe, who then won his first major tournament prize.

McKeehen, with his extensive experience, quickly built a significant chip lead. However, his opponent then found his rhythm and staged an impressive comeback, taking a commanding lead at one point. The two had reached an ICM deal before heads-up play began, splitting most of the prize pool, but they were still battling for the additional $40,000 and the SHRPO guitar trophy.

McKeehen was once down by more than 10:1 chips, but he fought back—it all started when he hit a flush on the river. The tide turned again when Greufe bluffed McKeehen with a nut flush, putting the WSOP champion back in chip lead. He then won the tournament with a 60/40 advantage. Greufe took runner-up prizes of $390,804, while the champion took $462,600, bringing his total winnings at The Hendon Mob to over $22 million.
