  The 2026 WSOP Online continued to crown new bracelet winners on GGPoker. On August 26th, Event #8: $5,000 6-Handed NLH Championship saw its final showdown. Ilia Arkhipov returned to the tournament with a Day 1 chip lead and maintained it throughout, ultimately defeating Yulian Bogdanov heads-up to claim her first WSOP bracelet and a $371,793 first-place prize. In addition to the first-place prize, Arkhipov also received a $30,000 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event Super Pass. The $371,793 also set a new career high for single-tournament winnings. 466 players competed for a $2.21 million prize pool, with a star-studded lineup of the final eight. The $5,000 6-Handed NLH Championship attracted 466 participants, creating a total prize pool of $2,213,500. By the end of Day 1, the massive field had been reduced to eight players. Arkhipov led with 5,507,817 chips, entering the final day with 79 big blinds; Wai Kiat Lee and Yulian Bogdanov finished second and third, respectively. The final eight included world-class players such as WSOP bracelet winner Mikita Badziakouski, Joseph Cheong, and Vlad Martynenko, the 2021 GGPoker online WSOP champion, making the final stage of this six-max tournament particularly competitive. Joseph Cheong finished in eighth place, setting the final table. Cheong entered Day 2 with the shortest chip stack among the final eight and was the first to be eliminated, finishing in eighth place and earning $40,867. With Cheong's elimination, the tournament set a seven-player final table. Then, two Brazilian players, Edilson Junior and Daniel Da Silva, were eliminated. Junior finished in 7th place with $61,965; Da Silva finished in 6th place with $83,529. With Da Silva's elimination, the remaining five players have secured at least six-figure dollar prizes. Wai Kiat Lee finished in 5th place, and Badziakouski missed out on a second gold bracelet. Malaysian player Wai Kiat Lee, who has a record of over $26.8 million in live tournament winnings, was the next player to leave, finishing in 5th place with $112,598.
