"Big Mouth" Matusow shows off four 2s! In episode 22, Matusow hit a set on the flop, and then another 2 on the turn gave him four. He opted for a slow play and successfully extracted value from DJ Washburn on the river, winning a pot of $10,850.


Every Monday night, "Hellmuth's Home Game," produced by Poker Night in America (PNIA) and sponsored by BetRivers, airs on CBS Sports.

In the first hand of this episode, Phillip “P3” Hellmuth III limped from the under-the-gun position with Q♥Q♣, and Randy “3Coin” Sadler raised to $150 from the next player with A♣7♦. John Cerasani called from the big blind with K♥2♥, and the three players went to the flop: A♥6♦5♥.

Cerasani checks, P3 bets. 300, 3Coin called with top pair. Surprisingly, Cerasani folded his nut flush draw, which would have been made on the turn 8♥. The result was a P3 bet.650, 3Coins raised to $1,400.

P3 called, then checked on the river 3♣, and 3Coin went all-in. P3 had several cards behind him. After much deliberation, he decided to call at 4,750, but could only watch helplessly as...The 13,425 pool was pushed to 3Coin.

Kelly's all-in bluff

P3 suffered a heavy blow in their first hand! In the opening hand, P3 had pocket queens against 3Coin's A-7. P3 called all the way to the river and then called their opponent's all-in. As a result, 3Coin won the pot of $13,425 with top pair of aces, instantly damaging P3's strength.

 

Kelly Lucas raised to the right with K♣Q♥ at the crucial point. At 300, Hellmuth called from middle position with Q♠10♣. Cerasani then raised from the button with 7♥7♣.900, DJ Washburn called with K♦10♥ in the draw position.

Kelly called, and Hellmuth also called, bringing the flop to 9♥4♥3♣. After three checks, it was Cerasani's turn to act, betting $500. Only Kelly called, and the turn card, 9♣, gave them a pair.

Kelly checked a second time, and Cerasani bet. At 1,000, Kelly suddenly check-raised all-in. Cerasani, holding the best hand, had several opponents behind him.3,600, but chose to preserve their strength and fold.

In the next hand, Cerasani raised from the clutch position with K♠J♥ to 250, Kelly, in position, defended with A♠9♥. The flop came: 8♦A♥3♣. Kelly checked, and Cerasani immediately went all-in.3,350.

Kelly called, and both agreed to a double deal. Cerasani had only a 5% chance of winning the hand. The K♥ on the turn gave him hope, but unfortunately, the 9♣ on the river was a no-go. In the second deal, the J♦ on the turn gave him hope again, but the 2♦ on the river was still no use.
