Jeremy Chan wins the highest single prize in the APT Incheon 2026 series. Malaysian player Jeremy Chan won the APT Incheon 2026 Super High Roller event, earning a career-high prize of £169,650 ($) and a £10,000 APT Championship slot. The event attracted 58 entries and had a total prize pool of £175,525 ($).

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Incheon 2026 Series is in full swing at Paradise City Casino, with four of the 10 days already making history. As of press time, Malaysian player Jeremy Chan has secured the highest single prize of the series so far by winning the APT Super High Roller 8-Max event.

A review of Chan's profile on The Hendon Mob reveals him to be a seasoned player. Prior to this victory, Chan had accumulated nearly £100,000 in live winnings across 66 tournaments. However, his sole win came in July 2023 in a £250 buy-in tournament in London, where he earned £12,430.

From April 2023 to August 2026, Chan reached the final table 26 times, but failed to replicate his victory in the UK. On five of those final tables, Chan fell short in the final round, finishing as runner-up.

One of his runner-up finishes came in the same event about a year ago, when Chan lost heads-up to Michael Foo. This year, at the APT Incheon Series APT Super High Roller, Chan faced Dutch star Michel Molenaar again heads-up, but he remained calm and defeated the talented opponent to win his first major live title and a career-best $169,650 (the total value is $179,650 if you include the $10,000 APT Championship seat awarded to the winner).

The APT Super High Roller 8-max event attracted 58 entries, with each entry costing 15 million KRW (approximately $10,700), resulting in a total prize pool of 801,705,000 KRW ($575,525), which also includes a $10,000 seat for the APT Championship to be held later this year.

Fourteen players advanced to Day Two, but only eight were able to reap the rewards of their huge investments. Sutthi Denvitaya made it to the nine-player final table, but his A-10 lost to Michel Molenaar's pocket Kings, meaning he became a victim of the prize bubble and left the tournament empty-handed.

The minimum prize was $22,620, won by Yuta Arito, who lost to Chan's KJ with pocket fives in the coin flip, and Chan improved to two pair on the river.

Shortly after Arito was eliminated, Molenaar beat Reoma Ogawa's King with AQ, and then Chan hit two pair on the flop with J-2 diamonds from the big blind, crushing Nevan Chang's pocket Aces.

Martin Sedlak, a German player active in Asian poker tournaments, was eliminated by Chan, whose A-9 lost to Chan's pocket queens.

Molenaar then completed a double kill, bringing the tournament to heads-up play. Chin Wei Fan went all-in with his final 12 big blinds, holding A-8. Peng Chen, holding AQ, 3-bet all-in with 23 big blinds. Action came to Molenaar, who received two red Kings. Molenaar called and hit trips on the flop, ultimately defeating Fan (fourth place) and Chen (third place).

Chan completed his mission after a long heads-up match against Molenaar. In the final hand, Molenaar opened with AJ, and Chan called with A-3 clubs. Chan checked and called 400,000 on a 9-8-2 flop, and checked and called 1,200,000 on a J club turn. The river was a 2 club, giving Molenaar two pair, but Chan made the nut flush.

Chan skillfully checked, and Molenaar took the bait, going all in with his remaining 4,000,000. Chan happily called, sending Molenaar to second place ($122,720 prize) and winning himself the trophy, $169,650 first-place prize, and a $10,000 APT tournament seat.
