Michael Mizrachi will win his ninth WSOP gold bracelet, or we will witness an unforgettable comeback. Michael Mizrachi entered the final day of the $10,000 PLO tournament with a chip lead of 80%, aiming for his ninth WSOP bracelet. His opponents will need an epic comeback to stop him.

The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship has only three players remaining, with Michael Mizrachi holding the vast majority of the chips.

Okay, not literally all. But his opponents need a stunning comeback like the New York Knicks' Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs a few weeks ago.

When the tournament resumes at 3:15 p.m. Pacific Time (approximately 5:45 p.m. live), "The Grinder" will hold 80% of chips. He will either join a solo club and win his ninth gold bracelet, or he will become the victim of one of the biggest three-way collapses in recent WSOP history.

Will there be a crazy comeback at the WSOP today?

Mizrachi will enter Day 4 with 40,225,000 chips. Zarvan Tumboli is in second place with 5,500,000 chips, while Michael Hahn is the shortest stack with 4,450,000 chips. Conventional wisdom considers Monday's event merely a formality, but what if things aren't? What if one of the short stacks suddenly gets hot and pulls off a stunning comeback to win the bracelet?

If this happens, it will be one of the biggest comebacks in WSOP history. If not, Mizrachi will become one of only eight players in history to win nine gold bracelets. Benny Glaser finished seventh last week in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. Nick Schulman had a chance to join that club the following day, but lost his chip lead in the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Low Stud Three Draws Championship, ultimately finishing as runner-up.

Mizrachi is the reigning WSOP Main Event champion, already a poker legend and a Poker Hall of Famer. If he maintains his massive chip lead, he will further solidify his legendary status with his ninth gold bracelet.

Given his massive chip lead, enough to withstand several bad beats and still maintain it, his loss will shock many in the poker world. Mizrachi himself has pulled off some incredible comebacks, including in the $10,000 Seven-Card Stud tournament. While he didn't win the bracelet, he started with a big bet on day one and ultimately finished sixth with $54,458.

Even more memorable is Mizrachi's comeback from a huge deficit late in the 2025 WSOP Main Event to win the World Championship. On Thursday, he will try to avoid becoming the other side of a crazy comeback.

However, this won't be the most incredible comeback in WSOP history. 1982 World Champion Jack "Treetop" Straus found a hidden chip under his napkin and then doubled it up to win the Main Event. Just last year, Michael Wang won the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event with less than a full big blind, taking home $1,394,579 chips.

Dan Sepiol trailed Robert Natividad in the 2024 $1,500 Shootout heads-up match, but then embarked on an epic winning streak to claim the gold bracelet. There are many other examples as well.

What we want to say is that Mizrachi is not a guaranteed winner of the $10k PLO championship. But he is certainly very difficult to beat. In any case, history will be made.
