The Triton Invitational will be held in Asia for the first time, taking place in Jeju Island from September 12th to 14th. Top players such as Phil Ivey, Bryn Kenney, and Ethan “Rampage” Yau will gather to compete for the $200K championship.
Triton Poker's next tournament in Jeju, South Korea, is set to make history – the high-stakes circuit has announced that the Jeju Super High Roller Series will host the Asian debut of its flagship event, the $200K Triton Invitational.
The invitational tournament, held from September 12 to 14, is one of the highlight events of Triton's biggest annual event. The series will return to the Les A Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World from September 4 to 17, marking its second visit in 2026.
The invitational tournament has a very different format from other tournament poker events. It pairs invited recreational players with top professional players in the game. They compete separately on the first day and then join forces on the second day to compete all the way to the champion.
Eighteen pairings have been confirmed so far, with more to be announced later. Triton stated that the Jeju event has the potential to become the largest in the series' history. The current record holder is the 137-player field set in Montenegro this May, where prodigy Adrian Mateos defeated all opponents to win the trophy and $6,370,000 in prize money.
Triton's "Key Milestone"
"Bringing the Triton Invitational to Asia for the first time is a significant milestone for our series," said Andy Wong, CEO of the Triton Poker Series.
"Given the large community of high-stakes poker enthusiasts in Asia, we look forward to bringing new players to the invitational tournament."
Wong continued, "On the first day, the tournament will separate invited guests from professional players to ensure a fair experience. Enthusiasts interested in this top-level competitive event are welcome to apply."
While one might naturally assume that a $200K tournament would be dominated by top professional players, past Triton Invitations have proven otherwise.
In the past ten invitational tournaments, four have been won by invited guests—Aaron Zang, Ramin Hajiyev, Aleksa Pavicevic, and most notably, Argentine rapper Alejandro Lococo, all of whom have lifted the Triton gold medal in this competition.
With the booming Asian poker market and the fact that all 12 of Triton's most-attended tournaments in history have been held in Jeju, the organizers are optimistic that this year's event will see more than 50 pairs participating for the first time since the inaugural invitational tournament in 2019.
18 pairings have been confirmed, and more will be announced soon.

Triton Poker has announced a series of world-class pairings ahead of the Jeju II Super High Roller Series and will release more information through its social media platforms in the coming weeks.
The initial list of 36 names includes many superstars. Phil Ivey, the greatest poker player of all time (GOAT), will participate at the invitation of Triton co-founder Paul Phua, while Bryn Kenney, the all-time leader in poker winnings, will be paired with Leonardo Drago.
Kenney recently became the first player in poker history to surpass $90 million in live tournament winnings. If he achieves another success in Jeju, it could propel him toward the next almost unimaginable milestone: $100 million.
Another familiar face is Ethan "Rampage" Yau, who just won his second WSOP bracelet this summer. Yau chose Justin Saliba as his professional partner—Saliba was in his party when Yau defeated Adrian Mateos in Las Vegas.
The star-studded lineup doesn't stop there. Isaac Haxton, Artur Martirosian, Seth Davies, Ben Heath, Danny Tang, and Kayhan Mokri are all confirmed high-roller regulars.
The complete pairing list that has been announced so far is as follows:
