Alessio La Francesca, an Italian player residing in Albania, emerged victorious from a field of 1,514 competitors, ultimately defeating Finnish star Elias Suhonen in the Heads-Up to claim his first WSOP gold bracelet.
La Francesca also won a $316,037 prize and a $30,000 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event Super Pass.
For him, this championship also made up for the regret of a year ago. During the 2025 WSOP Europe, he fought his way to the last two tables in the €2,000 NLH Monsterstack, but ultimately finished in 11th place; 12 months later, he finally officially joined the ranks of WSOP gold bracelet champions.

This is La Francesca's first WSOP gold bracelet and one of his most important WSOP achievements to date.
